The Fund for Global Human Rights

The Fund for Global Human Rights is an international nonprofit that identifies and invests in the world’s most innovative and effective human rights activists, organizations, and movements. Created in 2002 by a group of prominent activists and donors, the Fund connects grassroots human rights defenders with flexible funding, long-term strategic support, and a global network of allies. Since its founding, the Fund has raised and invested $140 million into the work of more than 1,000 activists and organizations in countries around the globe. Activists supported by the Fund have overturned unjust laws, secured progressive policies, and improved millions of lives worldwide. (Less)
