Minnesota Orchestra

The Minnesota Orchestra's mission is to enrich, inspire, and serve our community as an enduring symphony orchestra internationally recognized for its artistic excellence.Now in its second century and led by Music Director Osmo Vänskä, the Minnesota Orchestra ranks among America's top symphonic ensembles and has a distinguished history of acclaimed performances in its home state and around the world, numerous award-winning recordings, and a suite of innovative education and community engagement programs.The ensemble presents nearly 175 programs each year. Concerts and other activities are attended by live audiences totaling 300,000 at Orchestra Hall and other venues. More than 1 million others tune in to hear live and recorded concert broadcasts, including weekly Friday night broadcasts on Minnesota Public Radio.
