Discovery Museum

The mission of the Discovery Museum is to inspire enduring curiosity and love of learning through interactive discovery, hands-on inquiry, and scientific investigation. We know that to support kids we need to support their parents. Our efforts are geared toward fostering family fun and celebrating the joy of learning together. We focus on the development of skills that will help kids be successful: exploration and experimentation; persistence and resilience; the ability to understand their emotions and the emotions of others around them. They'll need to understand the impact they have on others and find ways to communicate with all types of people. Today's kids need to grow up to be confident risk takers and effective problem solvers. (Less)
